Please read through our ordering, posting and returns guidelines below. Apple Tree Lane Costume Company is an online retailer, and these guidelines help us serve all of our customers, including you, with a fast and friendly service!

  • We are 'closed' on Sundays and Mondays. For urgent orders please email us and we will try and process your order on our days off. 

  • From Tuesday to Saturday your order begins processing the day you click 'Checkout'. This means that your items will be packaged and posted within 3 days of reciept unless otherwise stated.

  • If you have ordered a 'handmade' item your order will take up to 30 days to complete and any other items you have ordered will be sent with it unless you request otherwise.

  • If you need to cancel an order, please contact us via email and we will attempt to make your requested changes. We are unable to cancel orders or items after you have received your shipping notification. These orders should be returned or exchanged sfter reciept.

  • To correct or modify your contact or shipping information please contact us via email.

  • All Orders must be placed online – No phone orders.

  • It is your responsibility to provide us with correct contact information. We are not responsible for orders shipped to incorrect addresses. If you have paid by PayPal your order will be sent to the address registered with PayPal unless you specifically tell us that you want your order sent elsewhere. 

  • International orders may be subject to customs and duty fees levied by their local government and will be the customer’s responsibility.

  • The following items are non-returnable unless you receive a damaged item:  Cosmetics.

  •  Posting costs are non-refundable, unless we post an item in error.

  • If your item arrives damaged or not as described, contact us within 5 days (Tuesday to Saturday) of receiving the item and we will gladly replace it. Please note that you will have 14 days from the date your package is delivered to qualify for a refund; 15-30 days for store credit.

  •  Exchanges will require the customer to pay for return postage. We will pay for the postage cost to get the new item to the customer.

  • Custom made orders require a non refundable deposit of £40. Orders are completed in 4 to 12 weeks on average but it can be longer in busier periods. The item will not be posted until the balance of the payment is received.
